Backcountry’s early summer sale is live with up to 50% off the usual suspects, including hiking shorts, short-sleeve shirts, and swim trunks. But if you prefer to keep your calves covered or you want something you can wear to the office, one of Columbia’s bestselling khaki pants that’s as versatile as it is comfortable is on sale for a song right now.

Columbia’s Flex Roc Pants are now just $41 at Backcountry—a 25% discount on the normal $55 price. They have accrued nearly 200 five-star ratings from shoppers who say they’re “the most comfortable pants” they own. They’re available in waist sizes 30 to 40 with inseams of 30 and 32 inches and come in six colors, though some have started to sell out.

The fabric is a breathable cotton canvas with 2% spandex for stretch and ease of movement, making it a great option for a casual hike. The UPF 50+ fabric helps block out the sun for extra protection from the elements. The pants have a hidden zippered pocket behind the hand pocket for secure storage, two rear pockets, and a discreet slip pocket at the thigh. The flexible fabric and performance features make them great for the outdoors, but the cotton construction, classic fit, and traditional belt loops make them an office-ready style, too. Colors include varied shades of khaki and brown and neutral shades of blue and gray.

Shoppers found the style comfortable and versatile, thanks to the stretch and ample pockets. “The pants are extremely comfortable and fit great,” one shopper said. “Plenty of stretch for hiking and other activities.” Another shopper agreed, writing, “These have quickly become my everyday pants for hiking, working, and lounging.”

If you’re looking for a versatile pair of pants that can take you from the office to a post-work hike, Columbia’s Flex Roc Pants are a pair to consider, especially while they’re just $41. We’re expecting these to sell out soon, so make sure to grab your size if it’s available.
