Pat McAfee Reveals Contents of ‘Vape’ He Offered Mike McCarthy at NFL Draft
The gesture was caught on viral video.
Mike McCarthy snubbed Pat McAfee’s “vape” offer at the NFL Draft, and now McAfee is explaining what was in it.
The moment was captured on viral video.
“Buddy sent me this video. Lol. Pat McAfee just wildn’ here in Green Bay for the #NFLDraft. Former #Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy wanted no part of it,” WFRV sports anchor Kyle Malzhan wrote, sharing the video on his X page.
The video shows McAfee taking a puff from the device before offering it to McCarthy, who waved it off with both hands and a smile.
TMZ reported that McAfee had a “vape pen,” but also wrote that it was “unclear” what was in the device. McAfee later cleared that up on his X page.
“To my understanding.. This was CBD/Vitamins from a wonderful dude at the draft last night.. obviously,” McAfee wrote on X. “Right before we went live.. a little altitude/attitude lift.. thought Coach might’ve gave it a go.”
The incident occurred at the first round of the NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Fans responded with a variety of reactions on the X comment thread.
“Green Bay WILL be the coolest Draft,” wrote one.
“Not much else to do in Green Bay,” wrote another.
“Mike thought about it for a second lol,” joked another person on X.
According to The New York Post, McCarthy was a guest on McAfee’s show when the incident occurred.
