Utah ranks 5th in US for interest in side hustles
SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Utah ranks fifth in the U.S. for side hustle interest, according to researchers at DocuCopies.com.
The team analyzed keyword data over the past year to learn what side hustles people are pursuing.
Virtual assistant work is Utah’s most sought-after side hustle, followed by tutoring.
The top-ranked side hustles span from service-based work like tutoring, personal training, and dog walking, all the way to remote opportunities like social media management, graphic design, and transcription.
Florida, California, Wyoming, and Vermont are the other states with more side hustle interest.
A separate study shared that two out of five consumers in the U.S. now earn income outside traditional employment.
